About Me
I'm Ciera Harvey Smith, a Chicago-based educator, creator, and builder.
I'm curious about people, ideas, and what happens when we actually do something with what we know.
My work moves between education, creativity, entrepreneurship, organizational development, and community. I enjoy learning new things, building things that are useful, and figuring out how to make an idea work in the real world.
I don't think all of our interests have to fit neatly into one box. This website is a place for the different parts of my work to live together.

How I got here
I've been working in education and program management since 2014 — scaling youth programs, community organizing, and building higher education programs, all while learning how to create on social media for fun. Somewhere along the way, I realized I was really good at what I do, and I wanted to offer my brain to others.
